May 15, 2015

On May 15th Josh and I were sealed in the Sacramento, CA LDS Temple in the company of some of our closest family and friends. I remember as we sat in the celestial room, {*the link will tell you a little more about LDS temples} waiting to go into the sealing room (where our family and friends were waiting), I was starting to get a little nervous, not in marrying Josh, but the idea that my whole life I've wanted to be sealed and married in the temple, and today was the day that that was going to happen. Excitement and jitters, marriage? What's it going to be like?! Yikes! ;)

I don't have much to write, but the weekend went by so fast. Josh and I hadn't seen each other since April (when my family and I went to Utah for my brother Sam's graduation from BYU, and before that we hadn't seen each other since February, when he proposed). Since our engagement it has been a haze for me, (and for Josh) I don't know how I juggled a wedding to plan, second semester of graduate school AND part time work. Whew! Did I mention the wedding fell on my last week of instruction for school? Yea! Bonkers! Josh moved back to Utah, getting adjusted to being back home and was looking for a job, and working as a private investigator (with one CRAZY basically 24-7 case) But, I did! We did. I am grateful for a supporting family; my parents, siblings and of course my now husband and my now family in laws.

Friday the 15th we were sealed in the temple, Saturday was Josh's graduation ceremony from Law School and our reception.  Sunday, we drove back to Utah (Josh started work that Tuesday and the Bar Exam prep course would start also). It was a busy and so very beautiful and meaningful weekend filled with love, laughter, tears of joy and mixed emotions (ALL good of course...sad, because I was leaving the place I have called "home").

I am grateful for both our families (close and extended) that helped us make our wedding weekend wonderful. And to our friends also. We are grateful for the love and support we felt that weekend, and even now, your continuous support and prayers.

Well, to what you've been waiting for. Pictures are worth a thousand words. Here are some pictures from our wedding weekend.

(coming....still drafting hehehe)
